How are drivers selected to work with Freenow?
All Freenow Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) drivers are self-employed and carefully selected through a thorough application process, which varies by country and city due to local licensing requirements.
In London, PHV drivers must obtain a Private Hire Driver’s and Vehicle license from Transport for London (TfL), meeting strict eligibility criteria and passing extensive background checks.
Before joining Freenow, drivers undergo additional checks, a face-to-face meeting, and a thorough induction. Our Quality of Service team continuously monitors driver performance, acting on passenger feedback to ensure top-notch service and provide ongoing support to our drivers.
