To rent one of our electric scooters, no previous experience is required. The only requirement is to be over 18 years old and to have a driver's license or an ID document to prove that you are over 18 before renting.
To do so, follow these steps:
- Enter your address and tax code details
- Upload a photo of your ID document, passport, or driver's license containing your profile picture - we do not accept documents without an identifying image
- Take a selfie
Your documents and biometric data will be validated by the Onfido platform and, once approved, you will be ready to rent an electric scooter.
For your safety and that of everyone else, you must follow the following rules:
- Only one person per scooter
- Do not exceed the maximum weight of 100 kg (including all accessories - bag, backpack, etc.)
- Respect local traffic laws
- Do not use the scooter under the influence of alcohol or drugs. For everyone's sake, it's better to call a taxi
- Be careful and drive intelligently. Watch out for large vehicles, do not drive in blind spots, and always stay focused and aware of your surroundings, traffic, and pedestrians
- Consider wearing a helmet
Once registered on the Freenow App and added a payment method*, you can book one of our scooters.
