How do I start and ride my moped?
Once you have selected a moped, start your rental by clicking on the 'Start rental' button. You can also reserve your moped to give you time (up to 15 minutes) to find it by clicking on 'Reserve'.
Riding is very simple. Before selecting your moped and after starting the rental, if you scroll up the menu of your moped, you will find all the instructions in the 'Step-by-step Guide'.
Here is a summary:
- Remove the helmets from their box (under the driver's seat on the left side or in the top box of the moped) and put it on
- Remove the moped from the stand
- Press the 'Start' button on the right side or below the handlebar (depending on the model) to turn it on
- To accelerate, push your right hand firmly towards you. To decelerate, gently squeeze the brake lever
For your safety and everyone's, you must comply with the following rules:
- Always wear a helmet. Mopeds can reach speeds of up to 45 km/h, and this is an essential safety measure for all our users
- Respect local traffic laws
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol/drugs. The 0.5 g/l limit also applies to motorcycle driving
- Do not ride in bike lanes
- Driving responsibly and safely. Be careful with large vehicles, do not drive in blind spots, and always stay focused and aware of your surroundings, traffic, and pedestrians.
Where can I drive my moped?
During the rental of your moped, you will see colour-coded areas on the map. These have a special meaning that must always be observed while driving. You mustn't cross the marked "boundary" of your city, as all mopeds are approved for specific zones.
Usually, you are allowed to drive the scooter anywhere, even outside the service area. However, you can only end your rental within the service area. Therefore, make sure that your moped has enough power to get you home. Approximately 1% of the battery is sufficient for 1 km of travel.
Can I pause my moped rental?
To temporarily lock your moped and pause the rental, simply activate the "Parking" option in the App. Suspending the ride may incur additional costs.
When you wish to unlock the scooter and resume your journey, simply end the parking mode by selecting "Continue the journey".
Where and how do I end my moped rental?
You must always park outside the orange parking zone and within the service area limits of your city.
To conclude the rental, follow these steps:
- Place the moped on its respective stand
- Put the helmets in the helmet box. This box must be closed properly (without straps, etc. between the contacts). When you hear a click, the box has been closed correctly and the moped has been successfully deactivated
- Insert the key or chip into the designated holder
- Open the app and click on 'End rental'
I can't complete the rental of my moped, what should I do?
If you are unable to complete the rental of your moped, there are several reasons:
- The moped is outside the limits of our area
- The moped is not on the stand
- The helmets/gloves and, if applicable, the keys are not in the helmet box or the box is not closed correctly
If everything is in order, but you are unable to complete the rental, contact our supplier partner immediately so they can do it manually:
