How to change your contact details or password

Need to update your contact info or password? You can make any changes to your Freenow profile right in the app.

For your security, our team can't edit your account details, and you can't do it through a web browser.

Update your details

Here's how to change your email address*, phone number or address:

1. Go to 'Account' in the bottom left of the main screen.
2. Tap your name to open your profile menu.
3. Select the contact detail you want to update then save your changes.

*Note: If you're updating your email address, you'll need to enter your Freenow account password.

Change or reset your password

If you're already logged in and want to change your password:

1. Go to 'Account' in the bottom left of the app
2. Tap your name to open the profile menu
3. Scroll down to 'More' > 'Change password'
4. Enter your current password, then enter and repeat your new password
5. Tap 'Update password'

If you've forgotten your password and need to reset it, you can do this via the app or a browser:

Via the app:

1. Open the app and tap on 'Sign in'
2. Click 'Request a reset'
3. Enter your email address and click 'Request code'
4. We'll send you an SMS with a 4-digit code to the phone number registered to your Freenow account
5. Enter the code to generate a new password

Via the browser:

1. Tap this link and enter your Freenow email address
2. You'll get an email with instructions in a few minutes

Remember: Your new password must be at least 8 characters long, not used before and can't include part of your username or email.

Recovering your account

If you've entered an incorrect phone number or email and can't sign in, or if you've lost access to your registered contact info, we won't be able to recover your account. We'll need to delete your profile so you can start fresh with the correct details.
