Round up and Donate is a feature in the app that allows you to round up the cost of your trip and donate the difference to A Little Shelter.
How does it work?
With this feature enabled, if your trip costs €10.64, you will pay €11 and we will donate the extra €0.36 directly to the shelter.
What happens if the total amount is already rounded?
If the total amount is already rounded (for example, 10.00€), no donation will be applied.
If the total amount is 10.01€, rounding up will be applied and the final amount will be 11.00€.
How do I activate the Round up and Donate feature?
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom right corner of the Freenow app's main screen.
Select 'Round up and donate'.
Activate the toggle button on the right side
You can also activate the feature during your trip from the app screen.
Where will your money go?
For trips in Greece, 100% of your contributions will go to “A Little Shelter”, providing love and care to stray animals in need.
How does it reflect on invoices?
Donations are not included in invoices because we invoice the trip on behalf of the driver/partner providing the service, while the donation is an unrelated contribution to the trip.
What are the accepted payment methods for donations?
Private payment methods: VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, PayPal, Apple Pay.
Credit cards with the "business" flag that are not linked to any Freenow business account.
