What is the Sustainability tab?
The Sustainability tab in your Freenow for Business Admin Panel gives you a clear view of the Greenhouse Gas emissions from your company’s trips. It’s a handy way to track the environmental impact of your business travel and take steps toward your company’s sustainability goals.
Overview of your Environmental Impact
The Sustainability tab provides you with a clear view of the environmental impact of your company's business trips for the period you select.
Key Metrics on the Dashboard:
- Total distance traveled (km): The combined distance of all trips taken by your team.
- Total GHG emissions (in tons CO2e): The cumulative total of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, expressed in CO2 equivalent, for all trips.
- Avg GHG emission per trip (in grams CO2e/km): The average greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per kilometer traveled, reflecting the direct climate change impact of the vehicle type selection across all business trips.
- Fully electrified vehicles (%): The share of all business trips completed using fully electric vehicles. Use this to track the evolution of the usage of fully electrified vehicles for your business trips and the success of your emission reduction strategy.
It’s easy to focus on a specific time frame by adjusting the date range (data is available up to seven days before the current date). If your company manages multiple sub-accounts, you can filter the data to see emissions for your entire organization or drill down to individual sub-accounts.
Generating Detailed Reports
You can export detailed reports, which are essential for in-depth analysis, sustainability/ESG reporting, and compliance efforts.
Steps to Export the Report:
Click on the Sustainability tab in the side navigation bar.
Use the Date Selector to choose the reporting period.
Click the "Export Report" button.
A CSV file will automatically download to your computer.
What the Detailed Report Includes:
The exported file contains granular data for every ride, including:
Trip details: Data such as the booking date and unique ID.
Mobility and fleet information: Details on the vehicle type used.
Route specifics: Information on the origin, destination, city, country, and distance traveled in kilometers.
Vehicle specifications: Technical details like the car manufacturer, model, and engine type.
Environmental metrics: The key figure showing the total GHG emissions generated by that specific ride in grams CO2 equivalents.
Benefits of the Sustainability tab
With the Sustainability tab, you get direct access to your data without having to contact Customer Support or your Account Manager, making it easy to stay on top of your environmental impact. You can use this data to support your sustainability reports and spot opportunities to encourage the use of lower-emission vehicles, helping reduce your overall imprint and meet your emission reduction targets.
