What are References for? How to make them mandatory?

References help you to:

• Track Travel Reasons: Categorise and track trip purposes for better budgeting and planning.
• Transparent Reporting: Enhance reporting accuracy, showcasing the value of your travel program.

In the 'References' tab, you can create as many references as you want. They can be deleted or edited at any time.

How to make References mandatory

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ tab in the Admin Panel and then select 'Trips’
2. Under 'Required booking info', tick the box 'Reference'

After that, employees will be unable to book on the company account without entering a reference, thus preventing unauthorised journeys.

When passengers switch from a personal to a business trip, they must enter a Reference directly in their app before completing the booking. This serves as a prompt to update the payment method accordingly.
