Where does FREENOW offer bikes for rent?
We offer RideMovi and Dott electric bicycles in Rome, Milan, Turin, Palermo, Monza, Reggio Emilia, and Modena.
To find a bike, open the app (2-wheels) and explore your zone. All the eBikes close by will be shown as bike icons. If you cannot see anyone, zoom out on the map to search a wider area.
When selecting a bike, its location, prices and battery percentage will be displayed.
Why does my bike slow down?
If your bike has automatically decreased speed during a journey, it may be due to 3 different reasons:
- You have entered a speed limit zone: Go-Slow Zones (yellow zones) - To comply with local regulations, in these zones, your bike's speed is automatically limited. Once you exit the Go-Slow Zone, you should be able to ride at normal speed.
- The bike's battery level is low - If the bike has a low battery, it will gradually reduce speed until it stops. Remember to always check the vehicle's energy level before renting it.
- You have left the service area - All areas on the map marked in gray are "Non-Service Area". In these zones, the use of the bike is not allowed at all. If you do not return to the permitted service area, the vehicle will gradually reduce its speed until it stops completely. You may also have trouble completing your ride in the app.
