Only Administrators and Bookers of a FREENOW Business Account can request a taxi for a guest through the app:
- Open the FREENOW app and enter the pick-up and destination address, or tap ‘Skip’ to go directly to the Service Type screen
- On the Service Type screen, tap ‘Payment Options’ and ensure the ‘Business’ tab is selected
- Select ‘Order for a Guest’
- On the ‘Your Guest’ screen, enter the guest’s details:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number (see instructions below to change the country code)
- Return to the Payment Options screen—your guest’s name will now appear under ‘Order for’
- If required, add a Reference or Cost Centre. The company account will automatically be set as the payment method
- Tap ‘Done’ in the top right corner
- You’ll be redirected to the Service Type screen. Choose the desired service and tap ‘Order Ride Now’ to book immediately, or select ‘Later’ to schedule the trip up to 4 days in advance
Pro Tip!
Once you've booked a ride for a guest, their details are automatically saved in your app. Next time, simply select their name from the drop-down menu under ‘Ordering for a Guest’ instead of re-entering their information.
How to change the country code for a guest’s phone number
- Tap the down arrow next to the flag and country code
- On the ‘Select Country’ screen, find the country manually or use the search bar
- You’ll be redirected to the ‘Your Guest’ screen. Enter the remaining digits of the phone number and tap ‘Done’
Can I save guest information?
Yes! If you're booking for a frequent traveller who is not on the account, simply check the ‘Save guest information’ box in the Web Booker to store their details for future use.
Once saved, guest records from both the Web Booker and mobile app will be accessible via a drop-down list for easy selection in future bookings.
You can delete guest records anytime if needed.
