Technology fee
FREENOW will charge passengers a Technology Fee for each taxi requested and completed, and paid through personal passenger accounts.
The fee goes towards ensuring we can continue to invest in technology improvements allowing the extension of FREENOW’s product offering for passengers.
The Technology Fee is levied by FREENOW and is separate from the fare (and, if applicable, any Third Party Charges).
The value of the fee, for a specific order, will vary and be influenced by several factors which may include which transportation method is ordered by the passenger, the time for which a passenger orders a ride, market conditions at the time of placing the order and/or other factors.
It will always be visible to the passenger upfront, before placing an order and on the passenger’s receipt.
Reservation fee
When you make a booking in advance, we charge a reservation fee to reduce the number of cancelled or unused reservations. This ensures a fair and efficient ride-hailing service for all our users. This fee covers the added benefit of ensuring a driver will be available at your specified time and location.
This fee can vary, depending on the service selected and on the city, and is separate from the fare you pay to the driver. This fee is separate from the fare you pay to the driver.
