This may be a temporary hold. It is not a charge, but an authorization of your card by your bank. When you make a reservation for a trip through the FREENOW app, your payment method is authorized to ensure that the payment method works or has sufficient funds.
This usually appears as "Pending" and may also appear as FRN*hold.free-now.com in your online transactions. Although it is not an actual charge, it will temporarily reduce your available balance.
Don't worry, you won't be charged twice! Once the trip is completed or canceled, we will charge the actual amount and automatically request the release of this temporary hold - depending on the provider/bank, this may take up to 7 days.
If the held amount is not released after 7 days, you should contact your payment provider/bank for more information. FREENOW is unable to expedite this process.
If you paid for the trip both through the app and with cash/card, please contact our support team and attach all receipts.
