If you're seeing more than one FREE NOW entry on your bank statement connected to a recent order, rest assured you have not been charged twice.
When you request a trip, FREE NOW may place a temporary hold of funds on your account to confirm that your payment method is valid; this is a pre-authorisation and could look like this: "hold.free-now.com", "Pre-Auth" or "FRN*Hold.Free-Now".
This is not an actual charge, however, your available balance will be temporarily reduced - even though no money has left your account at this stage.
Once your trip is complete, we’ll charge the actual amount to your card and request that your payment provider releases the temporary hold - depending on the provider/bank this can take a number of days.
