The remaining battery on your eScooter is shown in the app prior to and during your rental. Be mindful that this is an estimate and may change based on real-world conditions such as weather and road conditions.
Your eScooter may also go slower than normal if you enter a designated 'go-slow' area. As part of Transport for London's (TfL) eScooter trial, in these areas your eScooter's speed is automatically limited to 8 miles per hour. Once you leave the go-slow area your eScooter should be able to travel at the normal top speed.
If your battery has run out you can safely stop the eScooter ensuring that it is not blocking footpaths, public roads or garages. Then just tap “End rental” in the app. Then find a new eScooter nearby and start a new ride.
