As part of our ongoing commitment to support FREE NOW drivers, we’ve teamed up with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). Times are tough for everyone right now, and especially so in our industry where transport levels dropped so dramatically overnight due to the impact of Covid-19 lockdowns. This can put a lot of pressure on us all, and sometimes we don’t know where to turn for help.
What is CALM?
CALM is a UK-based charity leading a movement against suicide. In partnership with CALM, we want to help break the stigma associated with talking about mental health issues and let you know that help is available. We believe ‘it’s ok not to be ok' and we encourage people to talk about their issues and find the support they need.
How can CALM help me?
Every FREE NOW driver is eligible to receive a care package. This will contain some more information about CALM. This is the first step to supporting drivers who might be struggling. By understanding CALM and the support that they provide, you are also in a position to help direct passengers to the support they may need.
Are you a FREE NOW driver and didn’t receive a care package?
How can I get in contact with CALM?
CALM has experts ready to help you. You can get in touch with CALM on their helpline on 0800 58 58 58 or via webchat. You can also find help on specific issues like anxiety, grief, financial stress and much more.
