To ensure the safety of FREENOW passengers and drivers we have put together a list of recommendations on how to behave before, during, and after the trip to maximise your safety:
-
Order your vehicle to a safe and public location and make sure you stay at that exact location until your driver arrives.
-
Check that you are getting into the correct vehicle by making sure that the license plate number, car model, and colour match the information displayed in the app. Ask the driver to confirm your name before entering the vehicle.
-
Sit in the back seat, to give your driver more personal space.
-
Remember to fasten your seatbelt, not only are you legally required to wear them during the trip but they are proven to save lives and reduce injuries during accidents.
-
Share your trip with friends and family, allowing them to track it in real time within the app.
-
Remember your driver is just earning a living. You may be on a night out, but they are working - avoid distracting them and treat them respectfully.
-
We expect both our passengers and drivers to be respectful and polite, and won’t tolerate incidents of abuse or hate directed at either a passenger or a driver.
-
Rate your trip, to help us improve the experience of our users.
If you have been involved in a serious incident or feel unsafe, then we strongly recommend you contact the emergency services on 999.
