The privacy of both passengers and drivers is extremely important to FREE NOW. With this in mind, FREE NOW drivers are not able to see a passenger's phone number when using the app or vice versa.
We use what's called 'phone number masking', where calls between passengers and drivers are routed through a privacy system and display a generic phone number to both users.
As a passenger, you are able to call your driver via the app during your trip and up to 7 days after the trip has ended. This is to make it easier for a passenger to contact their driver about an item left behind in the vehicle. For more information on how to contact your driver about a lost item click here. Please note, drivers are only able to contact you while the trip is active.
