It is part of our General Terms and Conditions Taxi Drivers that we can not pay for damages, but please contact your car insurance company for their assistance.
We advise that you take photos of any mess/damage caused prior to cleaning in case the passenger should dispute the fee.
TfL regulations show that you can charge a passenger up to £60 as a 'soiling fee' if it requires the taxi to be taken out of service for cleaning.
If you work outside of London, please refer to your local fare charts for the amount that can be charged as a soilage fee.
