Starting Waiting Time
When you are at the correct pick-up location and ready for the passenger to get into your car, start your waiting time by selecting 'Waiting for Customer.'
Where can I see the waiting time?
You are able to track your waiting time at the top of your screen. This will start once you have clicked 'Waiting for Customer' (see image below)
Waiting Fee Eligibility
- The passenger has two minutes of free waiting time, after which they will be charged £0.25 per minute.
- We don't expect you to wait more than 8 minutes so the passenger will stop being charged after this time. After 8 minutes, you may choose to continue to wait, or, choose to cancel and receive the cancellation fee.
- Please note that if you cancel, you will only receive the cancellation fee, instead of any Waiting Fees accumulated while waiting.
- Please also note that Waiting Fees are not subject to Surge Pricing.
Waiting Fee Payment
Currently, waiting fees are paid only once per week, in your Wednesday payment, for any fees accumulated during the previous calendar week (Monday-Sunday). For more information around cancellation/waiting fee payments, please click here.
