To ensure the safety of our FREENOW passengers and drivers, we have compiled a list of recommendations. Here you will learn what you can do before, during, and after the ride to reach your destination as safely as possible:
- We recommend ordering the vehicle to a safe, public location and waiting at that exact location until the driver arrives.
- Make sure to enter the correct car or taxi by matching the license plate, vehicle model, and color with the information displayed in the app beforehand. The driver should ask for your name before or immediately after you enter the vehicle.
- Sit in the back seat to give the driver more personal space.
- Remember to fasten your seatbelt. Passengers and drivers are not only legally obligated to do so, but seatbelts have been proven to save lives and reduce injuries in accidents.
- You can share your ride with friends and family so they can track it in real-time on the app.
- Remember that your driver is earning a living. You may be out with friends at the moment, but the drivers are working - please avoid distracting them and treat them with respect.
- We expect both our passengers and drivers to be respectful and polite, and do not tolerate incidents of abuse or hostility directed towards a passenger or driver.
- Rate your ride to help us improve the experiences of our passengers and drivers.
If you have been involved in a serious incident and are injured or feel unsafe, we strongly recommend contacting the appropriate emergency services.
If you were involved in an accident or another serious incident during your ride with FREENOW, please contact our Customer Service. One of our representatives will get back to you as soon as possible.
